Graduate Research Assistant, Ph.D. level
Department of Agricultural Economics, Oklahoma State University · August 2025 – Present
- Research climate–yield modeling using interpolated weather predictors: temperature, precipitation, and soil moisture.
- Develop a hierarchical spatial errors-in-variables model (HSEVM) that jointly estimates interpolation surfaces with county-level yield regressions.
- Diagnose the Modifiable Areal Unit Problem (MAUP) and spatial support misalignment between stations and counties; quantify bias through simulation study.
- Implement kriging and INLA-based approximate Bayesian inference; build reproducible R workflows covering data, modeling, diagnostics, and visualization.
- Prepare manuscripts and conference submissions; manage Oklahoma weather and yield datasets with version control and replication files.
